More examples of OEM wheels on the “wrong” car:
Acura TL wheels on a Honda Accord:
Audi A6 wheels on this MK4 Golf:
This oddball shoe shaped car is a Volvo 480, and this rocks a full drivetrain conversion of FWD to RWD with a BMW transmission along with it’s E36 Motorsports wheels!
BMW 5 series wheels suit this Toyota Chaser just right.
BMW Style 5’s on this Triumph TR6 look good!
An uncommon car in the stance scene, and it took a lot of work for this one to sit like it does with BMW X5 wheels on this Peugeot 406 coupe.
C4 Corvette wheels on an MK5 Jetta looking good:
C5 “Wagon wheels” are super popular in the Audi/VW stance world thanks to great availability, low price and spacer/adapter friendly high offsets. Double stagger works well on this A4.
C6 corvette wheels on this black on black Chevy S10 looking good.
Still tons more to come!
Another round of unlikely heroes of the Salt:
Starting this off is the Mitsubishi Evo’s older brother, the Galant VR4.
Opel GT looking ready to attack!
This rarely seen gem is an old Saab 99.
Another Saab, the Sonett.
Even a Studebaker Avanti came out!
One of the great things about Bonneville is the sheer variety of vehicles that run. Check out this Subaru Justy!
Can you guess what this is? A Triumph Spitfire in all it’s aerodynamically modified glory.
Volvo’s can run too. Just ask this awesome Volvo P1800.
The Jetta hybrid’s distant relation, the Kharman Ghia.
GE8 Honda Fit on BBS LM:
Race ready or pavement scraping, BBS LM go well on everything, just check out this slammed Infiniti Q45: This FD3S RX7 has been all over the internet lately, and for good reason: BBS LM’s, slammed stance, clean aero!
Toyota Chaser on BBS LMs:
These wheels came factory on the Buick GNX, as well as a slightly different version on the the third gen Pontiac Firebird Trans Am GTA.
How about some Volvo wagons? Once a choice only for science teachers, Swedish soccer moms, and Top Gear hosts, these platforms are growing in popularity.
Volvo 240 on BBS RS (Looks like a photoshop, I know)
White on white Volvo 850 on 18″ Pegasus wheels:
Volvo V70R on Work VSXX:
Another potentially photoshopped 240 on BBS RS:
These guys march to the beat of a different drum:
